Make Money at Home

Choosing to work from home can be an exciting and scary decision.

I left a traditional 9-5 job just a few months before I had my daughter.

I knew that I wanted to be the one taking care of her every day, but I also wanted to keep working.

We are lucky to live in a time, where there are a lot of work from home options.

If you have a computer and a cell phone, your options are limitless.

But not every work from home position might work for you.

It's important to do your research and seek insight from someone currently working in the field.

Just make note.. That working from home is work! It is not easy.

It requires self discipline and following routines to be successful.

That's why I chose a business model that made me feel excited and enthusiastic to share the product.

Because, believe it or not, some days you just don't want to work.

But when their is a model set out for you, a pre made path for success, and all you do is take a step forward every day to get there... That keeps me motivated to go to work for myself, every single day!

Like I said, there are a lot of great work from home options.. The key is finding the one that speaks to you.

So how much money can you expect to earn working an AVON business?

Well, that is entirely up to you!

AVON is set up on a rising commission model.. So the more you sell, the larger commission payments you get.

AVON's kickstart program guides you through reaching sales goals to make your first $1000 in 90 days and start building a strong customer base to keep you moving forward.

After your first 90 days, your payscale is based on your order size.

There are 3 ways to grow your AVON business:

1- Catalog Sales, connecting with customers face to face.

AVON's catalogs is one of my favorite aspects of the company. (Don't worry, the practice sustainable forestry).

A new catalog is printed every two weeks, so you always have a good excuse to reach out and share a new deal.

Selling through catalogs is also a great way to connect with new, potential customers in your neighborhood. Catalog "tossing" is a technique that is sort of like a paper route. You bag a catalog with your contact info, then

walk your neighborhood and "toss" a catalog by your neighbors front door. (I recommend including a contact card for them to reach out to you to request more catalogs and samples.) You don't want to continue tossing catalogs to homes that have absolutely no interest or could become angry at persistent soliciting.

2- Online Sales, customers shopping your AVON store.

This is such an awesome benefit that AVON offers their reps. An absolutely free website that is professional and

can be customized to your liking! This also allows you to expand your reach to connecting with potential customers

outside of your city. Simply direct customers to your site, you can check out mine: www.youravon.com/aivory

From their, your customers can place their order and AVON can ship directly to them... And you still get paid!

**Also, customers can get free shipping once they have hit a certain order size, so this a great way to motivate

customers to spend just a little more and try a few more products.

3- Build your business by building a team.

I love that their is an opportunity to build your business by reaching out and helping other women grow their own

successful sales businesses. This requires taking on a leadership and mentorship role. AVON does pay in bonuses, commissions, and other incentives for successful team sales. This isn't a get rich quick model. This is about actively seeking and offering the opportunity to women who want to work their own business from home.
