Running your at home business needs to be profitable to make sense. The whole point is for you to make an income while getting to spend time with your littles. I want to help make that happen for you.

Now starting from scratch can seem extremely overwhelming and you will hear some people tell you to make sure you are present on every social media platform to get as much exposure as possible. I am going to tell you that is just adding more to your plate than necessary right now.

Maybe one day, you will have grown your business to a small team, and you can hire out a social media manager. But for now, I would suggest sticking with one or two of your favorite platforms.

You want to be able to network and connect with people, so for me, my Facebook profile was a must have when introducing and sharing my at home business. I also had a small presence on Instagram. So I decided to focus on building these two platforms up, rather than spinning my wheels trying to figure out and keep up with a Twitter account, Pinterest, and who knows what other social platforms they have come up with in the mean time.

If you are completely new to all social media, then I might suggest thinking about your greatest strengths.

Are you witty and have a fun perspective that you can share in under 300 characters, then Twitter might be a good fit for you?!

Do you love taking pretty photos with your phone while you are out on your walks, or if you just baked up a pretty cake? Then maybe try Instagram.

Or if you have friends and family who are constantly urging you to get on Facebook, then, you have instant contacts to share with!

**I should also note, that I film quick AVON Tutorials on YouTube.

Whatever you do.. Just do something!

Having access to an online platform that can reach hundreds, even thousands, in an instant, is an extremely powerful and FREE Marketing Tool.

If you chose to start your own AVON business, they hook you up with additional social media training and free networking images that you can use to gain a following.

But there are other fun ways to put your own personal touch on your marketing, without it feeling like a generic ad!

I connected with a platform called Polyvore. It's a fun site, that allows you to create your own sets (or collages) of products that you like or that you sell.

It is free to use and you simply sign up using your email address. From there, you can create a set, by choosing from a huge variety of images, products, texts, and backgrounds. You can simply search an item that you would like to show case.

I like that I am able to showcase AVON's freshest looks, by searching for AVON products. It is simple, fun, and a great way to showcase your own personal style. I have included a sample of one of my sets below, and you can check out my full Polyvore profile : here!

(Olive Green Faux Sued Trench, similar: Animal Print Tank , similar: Faux Leather Skinny Pant , similar: Combat Boot , Similar : Tote , Pave Ring, Pave Bracelet, similar: Leather Band Watch, similar: Torti Cat Eye Sunglasses, similar: Two Tone Earrings , AVON True Color Lipstick )

And here is one of my AVON Reviews on YouTube. This has been a fun way for me to get more familiar with the product I am selling and create a more engaging atmosphere to show off some of my favorite finds. All of these marketing outlets are absolutely FREE for you to use right now!!
